Corn Hill Bicycle Festival...July 24th

A new bike festival is coming to Southern New Brunswick, on July 24th the Corn Hill Bicycle Festival (rain-date July 25th) will be held in the community of Corn Hill just a short drive from Peticodiac.
The daylong festival is designed to provide a great introduction to Corn Hill’s cycling routes with a number of long and short-guided rides and a series of workshops that will cover basic bicycle mechanics, road safety, touring, and nutrition. The festival is open to everyone from casual riders, avid cyclist, and yes even those of us who have a bicycle collecting dust in the garage. Its the perfect opportunity to bring your family out for a enjoyable day of riding, learning about cycling, and enjoying the country.
The day event will also celebrate the creation of a local bicycle map and be a way to spread awareness of Corn Hill's fantastic cycling landscape. We've got wide open views, rolling hills, low traffic, and a Cafe...what more could you ask for?
Registration opens June 21st and closes July 19th.
More details coming soon!
Check us out on the web at www.bicyclecornhill.wordpress.com and join us on Facebook.
Contact Joanna and Graham at bicyclecornhill@gmail.com if you have any questions or would be interested in volunteering for the day.

Since this is your first event I would be interested in hearing how it turned out. A group I ride with in Central Oregon is considering the same type of event. Our environment here is high desert and ample mountain views. It's really a beautiful location to ride in. Please let me know how this worked out for you and possibly what worked well and what did not work so well. The benefit of your experience would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.
